Desert Horned Viper

 The desert horned viper is known for its two horns above its eyes and this sets it apart from other snakes you would find in the desert. The snake is similar to the side winder and moves in a similar motion across the sand they also have a pattern on there back that resembles the sand and helps them blend in to the sand and rocks around it. They are mostly found in northern africa and the middle east. For example the snake played a prominent and at times a mythical role in egyptians history mummified bodies of desert horned viper where found in the city of thebes on the banks of the nile river. In egyptian
